Adair County Sportsmen’s Club will be a co-sponsor of the South Central Kentucky Outdoor Expo. This event is Sponsored by Jones Chapel UMC and be held at the Adair County Elementary School, Saturday August 21, 2010 from 9-4 CT.
Friends of the NRA Banquet will be held Friday July 30 at Lindsey Wilson College’s Dining Hall. Doors open at 5:30 pm. For tickets contact Barry Jones, 270-384-9758.
Our mission is promotion of hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Especially important is the encouragement of youth who are the future of these activities. We are proud of our affiliation with 4-H
, the Boy Scouts of America, and the Kentucky Hunter Safety (orange card) program twice per year.
Membership is only $30 annually (January 1 to December 31) including a key to the club. This covers all members of a household. Join us today.
Our facilities cover 30 acres in Adair County at the Columbia city limits. We are located off KY 61 (Burkesville Street.) From the city, turn right on Lancaster Street, from the Louie B. Nunn Parkway, turn on exit 47 toward Columbia for approximately two miles and turn left on Lancaster. From Campbellsville, take the SR 55 bypass to the 1st stoplight turning left. The club entrance is on the left approximately 250 yards.

Hours of operation are 8:00 am CT (1:00 pm Sundays) until sunset for shooting events; night trap shoots are the exception. Picnicking, use (rent) of clubhouse, and fishing at all times are welcome.
Competitive matches for ATA trap and International Defensive Pistol (IDPA) matches are held on designated days. Club membership for participation is not required, but encouraged. Membership in the sanctioning organization is required for participation and may be purchased at matches. (Note: Some or all shooting ranges may be closed during scheduled matches.)
Non-sanctioned events include rifle matches, blackpowder events and archery tournaments.
